Judi's Fireworks Block

I was looking for some sparkle for my fireworks block and I decided to use some lame fabrics. Now I'm wondering how it will quilt up or wash over time. Does anyone know? Maybe I need to experiment. Well here's one of them.

ooo - I like the lame in there! It might hold up quite well with a super light interfacing fused onto it first? Like we would do for knit t-shirts for quilt-making or working with light silks in piecing.

The lame gives a really neat effect Judi! I have no idea about durability, but how often would you wash the quilt?

If it's cotton lame, it will wash just fine. Otherwise, just use a gentle cycle and either air dry outside or in the dryer.
